A year to this day Mum on The 10th of December 2009 you suffered a stroke; it was a year to this very day. That was the day that my life was to change forever. We had simply gone out shopping, if only I had known this was our last shopping day together. If only I had known that the night before was to be our last meal together, our last evening to sit and talk together, to laugh together, the last time you would sleep in your own bed, the last time I would tuck you in. If only I had known. Mum I love you so much, Mum I miss you so much, Mum there’s not a single day that passes without thinking of you.
